Loss of appetite (Anorexia):
1 - Take equal amounts of carom seeds (ajwain),fennel seeds (saunf), dried ginger powder (sonth), salt and black cumin seeds (shah jeera).Mix the above ingredients and grind it to a fine powder.Mix a tsp of this powder and a tsp of hot ghee to cooked rice and consume it regular to build up the lost appetite.
2 - 1 glass of warm water with 2 tsp amla juice ( made from fresh amla or dried amla soaked overnight in water) + tsp honey + 2tsp lime water can be had every morning on an empty stomach.
3- A pinch of Add black pepper powder (kali Mirch)added to 2 tsp lime juice ( can be dilutedif necessary with water) and had regularly in the mornings on an empty stomach also helps restore lost appetite.
4- A concoction prepared by boiling together ½ tsp black pepper powder (kali mirch), 1 tbsp jaggery powder (shakkar)and 1" piece ginger (adrak) into small pieces with 1½ cups of water. Add milk and sugar to taste, and take it frequently like tea.
